Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Serving Guests at Ronald McDonald House

Eight members (Mark Carroll, Char Knapp, Kim Nager, John Perry, Lisa Carroll, our foreign exchange student from France Lea Suttee and prospective member John Muir)  of the Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Club prepared an outstanding dinner of tri tip, scalloped potatoes, salad and rolls for about 30 guests of the Ronald McDonald House.

As described on the Ronald McDonald website: "The idea behind the Orange County Ronald McDonald House is simple: provide a comfortable and affordable “home away from home” for families shouldering the burdens associated with a child who is being treated at a nearby hospital.”

That evening we made a lot new friends and had a great night. Char met a new perspective member that speaks mandarin and she is trying to find a club for him near his home in Diamond Bar. Word got out that we were making tri tip so all the families that could make it at 6 came. It was a sell out!

It looks like everyone had a fun time doing this. I wish I had been able to make it as well.
